Thanks to Pete and all the people that Wim Stroman, from Amsterdam, and I met when we visited you in early August. August 2008

Fred Livesey has sent us this photo of Lisbon 733. Fred contacted the MTPS to warn us that the "How to find us" link was not working. He says, "I found you because we have just been in Lisbon and had a very enjoyable ride on the vintage trams there. When researching for more information, amazingly found you in Birkenhead and I only live in Chester. I will be down to see you in the near future. It was rather a nice trip though, as the young lady in national costume served us port and custard pies, we were amazed at how steep some of the streets were and very narrow, brushing past pedestrians on occasions."

Thanks Fred, while we haven't got the steep streets or even a young lady in national dress you can still experience a ride in a Lisbon tram at Birkenhead. Now I wonder if the Old Colonial does port and custard pies....
